Network drive mappings missing in Windows 7
I have a HP Elitebook 2540p running Windows 7 Pro. When I login to the domain, only 2 out of 5 drive mappings appears. Using the same account, I can login to other Windows 7 machines without problems - all 5 drive mappings appear correctly. I use another account on this laptop the same thing happens - only 2 out of 5 drive appears, so it's not a problem with the user profile. I am able to map the drives manually using both Windows and command prompt (net use with persistent option) but upon restarting, the manually mapped drives disappears again. And when I restart the machine after mapping the drives manually, the shutting down process takes forever.

Hi, Did you find out any error message in the Event Log? If so, please provide the detailed information. If the mapped drive via the script, please post the contents in the script to let us examine it. Also, please disable the UAC if it is enabled. And you may disable the firewall in the meantime. Although you are using an Administrator account, the UAC split the token to separate toke, the one of them is administrative token, the other one is non- administrative token. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
