Network printer keeps installing
I have two computers, one with Windows Vista (named 'work') and the other with XP (named 'home'). The XP computer has a printer installed and shared on the network ('Epson Stylus Color 440').My problem is that every time I reboot the Vista pc a new printer is installed on the XP pc ('Epson Stylus Color 440 from 'work'). If I delete it then it reinstalls later.I'm sure I followed every step in this kb article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320138 to disable the automatic search for network printers yet the printer keeps reinstalling. 1 person needs an answerI do too

On your Vista machine did you by chance set the Epson driver as shared? If so, this should be changed.--"FGM" wrote in message news:Email removed for privacy...I have two computers, one with Windows Vista (named 'work') and the other with XP (named 'home').
