Network routing Problem
I have a client who is a quadriplegic. I set up a wireless network so he can print to a remote printer in another room. The wireless and printing works fine until . . . He also has a Verizon Broadband PCMCIA Card plugged into the same computer which he uses for the Internet. My problem is that as soon as he uses the Verizon Card to establish a connection to the Internet, the wirelessnetwork that was working no longer works and will not work again until you reboot the computer. Disconecting from the Verizon Internet does not restore the wireless network. Once the Verizon card takes over you can no longer Ping or communicate with anything on the wirelessnetwork. My IP scheme for the wireless is: Wireless Router/Switch192.168.10.1 Computer 192.168.10.10 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.10.1 Printer 192.168.10.100 All IP Configurations are hard coded, no DHCP is in use for the wireless network. The Verizon Internet Connection picks up a routeable IP address. Can anyone help?
