Network timeout problem (I think)
A Win7 computer running the ExLibris Voyager client (a library application) times out with a Runtime 65099 error after about 10 minutes when left inactive. All other computers in the office are running Windows XP and have no problems. Voyager has a timeout
parameter that has been set way beyond 10 minutes without effect. ExLibris says this is a Windows 7 problem. I tried installing the client in Windows XP mode but it does not fix the problem. Can anyone suggest anything to try to fix this?

Hi,
First you should make sure that ExLibris Voyager client is compatible with Windows 7 or not. There is no information about this compatibility in Windows 7 Compatibility
Center, you can check it on:
Windows 7 Compatibility Center
Since that application is not the product of Microsoft, I give you some common suggestion to troubleshoot the issue:
1 Unplug all unnecessary hardware and login with
Clean Boot
2 Temporally disable firewall
3 Remove other third party tools or programs to check if any conflict with this application.
4 Update your driver of your PC, also update BIOS
If the issue persists, you’d better ask ExLibris for further help.
Thank you for your understanding.
Regards,
Leo

Your advice turned out to be right on the mark. The problem was with Kaspersky anti-virus. Once it was replaced with another anti-virus program, the problem went away. Thank you for pushing me in the right direction.
