New user account cannot access internet
I recently tried to create a new administrator user account on my laptop in an attempt to fix a problem i was having with a new program i had installed (this was recomended by adobe support). However, i am unable to access the internet from the new account, my wireless network shows it is connected, i have tried resetting internet settings as recomended in other posts, i have also tried setting up yet another admin account to see if the second account was somehow corrupted. I am unable to acess the internet through either IE or firefox on the new accounts. Internet is still working fine on the primary user account.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi,· What is the exact error message that you encounter when you try to connect to the internet? I would suggest you to ping the IP address of the website and check whether you are able to send and receive packets. Follow the steps mentioned below.a. Click on Start and the click on Run.b. ok, a little more information, I have windows xp sp3 on my computer and i connect to the internet via wireless router and cable modem. When i open IE on the NEW USER ACCOUNT i get the message that internet explorer cannot display the web page. When i click on diagnose problems it says that it cannot find any problems. I have tried several websites with no luck. My PRIMARY ACCOUNT on the SAME COMPUTER is still accessing the internet just fine. My new account shows that it is connected to the network, but i am unable to access the internet.I attempted to ping the address you gave me but it failed out on both the new account and the primary account that i am currently online with. Not sure how i can not be able to ping with an account but still able to access the internet. I tried a few other addresses as well and they all timed out even on my primary account that i am using to write this response. The problem with accessing the internet seems isolated to the NEW USER. i have tried to check to make sure all the settings are the same between the two users and have changed the ones on the new user that i have found different but that has not worked. Once again my COMPUTER can acess the internet just fine, its only the NEW USER accounts i am having trouble with. i hope this clarifies my problem. thank you for your help
