So the update windows downloaded and installed this past week makes my internet run incredibly slow, either FireFox or Explorer. It says that I have an excellent WiFi connection (54 Mbps), but even getting to just Google the internet will "time out". I fixed the problem by doing a system restore point to a couple of days before the update but Windows downloads the update again, so I'm stuck clicking "restart computer later" every 5 minutes. Does anybody have any idea what I can do??? PS. I'm running Windows XP home edition on an HP Pavillion laptop from about 2006, hope that helps.1 person needs an answerI do too
