No Internet Connection in Normal Mode
Hi there! I have a problem with my new windows 7. It can't get an IP address from my router when in normal mode. In safemode it can connect to the internet. I had zone alarm and I took it off for trouble shooting but still got same problem. I scanned for malwares and spywares. Still got nothing. Clean booting also did not help. As well as system restore. Thinking or Reinstalling the operating system but I hope anyone here can come up with suggestion first. Any suggestion will be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance! Make sure that DHCP client service is enabled (runo > services.msc). Try to use ipconfig /renew command on CMD and check if you are able to get an IP address. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

What is the result of the ipconfig /renew command? If you disable all you security softwares, the result is the same? What is the result if you update you NIC driver? This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
