Ihave a desktop wired to a netgear router and a laptop connected wirelessly. They both share files and printers back and forth as they always have but now the laptop cannot get internet access. The network button on the start menu opens a window that shows both computers, a residential gateway (which is the access point to the router and I can get full access to the router wirelessly) and it shows a internet gateway but I cannot get connected to the internet. I know this has to be something simple, maybe a service that is not working?? I have looked at them and find nothing relevant but I am no expert. Appreciate any help!!

Could you post the output of ipconfig /all (from a command prompt) from both the desktop and the laptop?
