in the LRS SCOM Management Pack Guide it says (for prerequisites):

Does that really mean that you can not install a SCOM management agent on a LRS that is not joined to a domain? Can you really not monitor an LRS (with SCOM) that is not joined to a domain ?
If true, is there any workaround?

Hi,

Base on my understanding, the SCOM only works for the LRS which domain joined and SCOM will not work with the LRS which non-domain joined.

For SCOM issue, you can also post a case on SCOM forum and there are more SCOM experts will help to confirm it. Thanks for your understanding.
