Non Loading of MS Outlook Express
have a problem which I am not able to resolveI have tried with System Restore and from control panel to install and repair but to no avail I get the following message: The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action so I OKthen a window pups up with Microsoft exchange (I don't need this)so I say cancel then I get the next message Cannot open your default e-mail folders. The file C:~Documents and Settings~Application Data~Microsoft~Oultlook~outlook.ost is not an offline folder file. (~ = backslash) then shut down of outlook can you help meit just started out of no where when I started work this afternoon 1 person needs an answerI do too

Sounds like it may be a corrupted mail profile. Thanks Hank, but why do I want to connect to the MS Exchange server? I am a stand alone unit? have tried to make a new profile as you suggested from the controll pannel and the whole PC went blank? Mayor error message and shut down (2x) so went back to old profile. any suggestions?
