Non System Disk press any key to continue...PLEASE HELP!
I have an Alienware M14x R1 laptop with a Crucial M4 SSD as my primary drive and the stock Seagate in the optical drive as my secondary drive. I recently tried to update the Seagate's firmware and now everytime I boot up I get this message that says, "Non-system disk press any key to continue". What do I do to fix this?

It sounds like you somehow manage to corrupt the Crucial M4 SSD while trying to update the firmware on the Seagate HDD. You will first have to determine the exact state & condition of the SSD to determine if you can do a Repair Install of Windows 7 on the SSD. One way to determine the state & condition of the SSD, and the HDD, is to check them in another system. If you cannot boot into Windows, this is not a Windows problem; this is commonly referred to as a "hardware problem!"Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Oh I am sorry I should have stated that I boot into windows just fine, I feel like windows is trying to boot from my HD rather than my SSD, but after I press any key it boots into windows perfectly

Still looking for help although I feel like I may just have to bring it to a computer store or just do a clean install of windows
