Hi all, I am having some secuity issues with my laptop. I am running vista, and things just didnt seem right so i ran Microsoft security essentials and it showed a couple of trojans which it now says have been removed. However since then i am getting a Microsoft pop up informing me that the host process for windows service stopped working and was closed and that A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. I then get up a second pop up directing me to Microsoft updates. When i click on the link (or go directly to the Microsoft updates) the page loads but then i get an error saying the connection was reset. My automatic updates is also switched off and when i try to reset this i get a Microsoft window opo up saying the program will not run, the dependency service or group failed to start. As i say im a noob so please explain in idiot proof language, thanks in advance.

im still getting a Microsoft security essentials pop up telling me that i have the following trojan - Trojan:DOS/Alureon.A. What can i do? every time i remove it using the security essentials and reboot it comes right back.
