Odd occurrence with Windows Live Messenger
Here's an odd thing. Win 7 RCI have WLMessenger open but minimized. If I have a Thunderbirdwindow up , them minimize it, up pops WLMessenger! If I have TBird open on top of say an open Windows Live Mail window, and minimize it (TBird that is), Windows Live Messenger does NOT pop up!Odd!Anyone else noticed this?

Hi,I just downloaded Thurderbird on ourtest machine and tried to reproduce your scenario. However, it doesn't behavior as you mentioned above. Could you tell us what the version of Thunderbird and Windows Live Messenger you installed? Does Windows Live Messenger behavior the same with other applications open? I would like to reommend you to install Thunderbird in Windows Vista compatibility mode. Meanwhile, you can right click Windows Live Messenger==>Compatibility==>Select Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows Vista so as to let Windows Live Messenger behavior as the previous appearance. Best Regards.Dale

Best Regards.Dale Hi - Thunderbird version is 2.0.0.23 (20090812) and Windows Live messenger is 2009 (build 14.0.8089.726) both running in Compatibility mode Vista SP2. Behaviour still happens! It's ONLY with TBird that this happens. Doesn't happen with Firefox or any other application! It's not a problem, more of a slight irritation!
