Office 2007 on windows 7 hangs when connected to network
I am using Windows 7 basic edition and office 2007 on a HP pavilion dv6. When not connected to network everything works fine. When I switch on the wireless office applications freeze. I can not kill the task from task manager. When I try to shut down the computer it wont shut down. Also whenever it goes on hybernate mode the computer locks again. This happens in my home network. I took the computer to the store but everything worked perfectly. Again back at home the problems continue. If I do not connect to the network again no problem. I tried smb2 solution and turning off firewall, but they did not help. Anybody have any idea?

Hi, Please try to boot into Safe Mode with networking to check what the result is. If this issue does not persist in Safe Mode, it would be caused by the software conflicts, try performing Clean Boot to find the root cause. Meanwhile, for office issue, it is also recommended to Office forum for further help: Microsoft Office for IT Professionals Category Good luck.
