Offline files won't stay enabled, MyDocs not available offline
I am working with a IBM Lenovo Windows 7 Pro SP1 laptop with a docking station, attached to a Windows Server 2008 Domain (not R2). Offline files seem to get disabled after a reboot on this specific laptop using any User account. My Documents also fails to cache, totally (no Docs available when offline). I have 3 other laptops that seem to work fine for their respective users, so I know the DC is functioning properly and it seems to be a problem with just this IBM Laptop (using any normal user login). I don't see anything in the Event Logs that would indicate a problem with the CSC. There is no Domain or Local Policy that messed with the Background Sync/Offline file setting but I AM redirecting My Documents via a DC policy - which seems to work fine with the exception having no MyDocs cache once you disconnect from the network... I have tried resetting the CSC via the foramtdatabase reg key. I have also tried removing the laptop from the domain and rejoining. I am not really sure where to go with this, at this point...
