i have installed windows 7 now my card readers do not show in my computer and will not autoplay

Please let us know what system you are using and, if possible, which type of card reader is in it. Although quite unusual, it is possible the cardreader requires a driver. In that case visiting the manufacturer's homepage to download and install the latest driver might resolve the issue. You state you installed Win 7, and after that the cardreader did not function. Did it function before? What OS where you using at that time? I'm asking this to find out whether this might be a hardware issue too. MCSA/MCTS/MCP

Hi Phil, If you installed Windows with memory cards in the reader(s), maybe you need to import them. Go 'start' and rightclick 'computer' and in the pop-up menu choose 'manage'. Computer Management will open, where you choose 'disk management' in the left hand side colum. In 'disk management', check if you can see the card readr(s) in the graph display. If so, right-click on it/them and simply import it/them... hope this helped. JJ
