Outlook 20013 is not able to synch contacts with Lync 2010 client

I have recently upgrated my outlook client from 2010 to 2013, but then the outlook 2013 client is not synched with Lync2010 client. I am not able to get any information on busy, fee or etcs in the email.

Is there anything we can do to resolve it?

Thanks.

You mean you're not seeing presence status within Outlook?  Double check the Lync plugin is activated under Options->Add-Ins in Outlook.  If you don't see it listed, and it's just one user, it might be easiest to reinstall Lync to get it in there.

Hi,

Did you solve the issue with the help of Anthony provided?

Please press Ctrl and right click Lync icon in the taskbar, open configuration information. On the open page check if EWS status and MAPI status are OK.

If the MAPI status shows not OK, please wait for a few minutes and refresh again. In my lab when I first started Lync 2010 client with Outlook 2013 I couldnt view the Lync status on Outlook as well. Then I checked the EWS and MAPI status on Lync client, the status of MAPI not showed OK, after waiting for several minutes the status showed OK and I could see the Lync status on Outlook.

Best Regards,

Eason Huang
