Outlook 2007 on Vista machine intermittently not sending emails
My work machine is an HP Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with Outlook 2007 installed. When it was first set up, no problems at all sending emails thru our company server. A while back it started having issues, with outgoing emailsshowing they were sent, but never were received by the intended recipient. Now, the dadgum thing actually send about one in five outgoing emails, and usually only when it's a Reply to or Forward of an incoming mail from someone else - if I try creating a brand new email, it won't go anywhere except into the Outbox, then Sent Items, but itNEVER MAKES IT TO THE ADDRESSEE! This has been extremely frustrating, and Microsoft only offers help to fix the broken-____ product if i PAY for support??? The ONLY thing that has changed between installation and now has been using Automatic Updates, no settings have been changed. The thing that really stings the most is that I was a staunch supporter and proponent of using Outlook when the Company President, an Apple guy, insisted that Outlook & Windows sucked, and we should use Thunderbird for company emails. As much as I think Thunderbird sucks, I'm about ready to switch just so I can have the ability to send emails without having to jump through hoops and sending them 47 times before they finally go through to someone. DOES ANYONE AT MICROSOFT HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHY OUTLOOK STARTS TO GROW WEARY OF SIMPLY SENDING EMAILS AFTER DOWNLOADING A FEW AUTOMATIC UPDATES?????????1 person needs an answerI do too

Um... isn't that where this is?I guess I'm just frustrated that I have to resort to a forum, where I may - or maynot- get a solution to the problem (maybe in a few hours, maybe a few days, or weeks), when the ROOT of the problem is bad programming on Microsoft's part, and then they expect me to PAY THEM to FIX the problem they created, after already spending the money on the software in the first place.
