Outlook Express
I recently started using a new computer (new to me anyway). Both my old and new computers run XP. I downloaded my Outlook Express folder to a flash drive so I could save all my old folders, emails, address book and the like. Now I can not figure out how to transfer those items, or the whole folder if possible, to my new C: drive. The new computer has Outlook Express on it but all I get is new email, with no address book, none of my saved emails, etc. How do I transfer the old to the new?? Sure hope I haven't lost everything.1 person needs an answerI do too

The OE message store only holds the messages in data format and not the address book.Backup & Restore:http://www.insideoe.com/backup/Backing up and Cloning your OE Identities:http://www.insideoe.com/backup/clone.htmIf you are transferring to another PC, and have access to a Windows XP setup CD, or if both computers are running Windows XP, see:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/community/columns/OEtopten.mspx#EBAA Import messages into Windows Mail from Outlook Express:http://windowshelp.microsoft.com:80/Windows/en-US/Help/53e5df86-5ffb-43cf-a0c8-164e3fe7994f1033.mspx Bruce HagenMS-MVP Oct. 1, 2004 ~ Sept. 30, 2010Imperial Beach, CA
