Last Friday, I was unable to get an internet connection. Several attempts were made to "fix" my connection, including making some changes to my Outlook Express settings. Eventually, Verizon technicians told me that my internet service was down because Verizon was making some system-wide changes. I can now access the internet. I can get and receive email through Verizon's yahoo.verizon address, but my Outlook Express still does not work. I get the following error message:An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'POP3', Server: 'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C0133 I tried to fix this by using the help screens, and with Verizon's in-home agent, which refers me to Verizon's 800 number. The technicians at the 800 number tell me I have to call a for-fee Microsoft help line to get this resolved.I had no problem with my Outlook Express before my service went out last Friday. This indicates a damaged Inbox.dbx file.
