Outlook Express 6.0 on Windows XP
I can send and receive e-mails OK. My problem is that I don't receive the e-mails sent to me from a few of my e-mail addresses. They are in my address book and I can send e-mails to them. They receive e-mails from me, but I don't receive e-mails from them. What can I do to fix this problem?1 person needs an answerI do too

Is this a POP3 account? If you logon to your server's Webmail site, do the messages appear there? Is there any difference if they send you a new e-mail vs. a Reply? Have you checked your message rules and blocked senders list? Any spam program either installed or supplied by your server? Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]

I have a pop3 account. I send and receive e-mail through outlook express from my computer and not from the website. It does not matter if it's a reply or a new e-mail. I have not rules set up for any of these people and they are not in my blocked senders list. I have no spam programs installed. The only one i have is what is in outlook express. My ISP said it's not them and I need to contact Microsoft. Does any of this help?

I send and receive e-mail through outlook express from my computer and not from the website. I have no spam programs installed. The only one i have is what is in outlook express. Down to two: I understand you don't use your server's Website normally, but what you need to do is to have one of these people send you a message. Assuming you do not get it in OE, logon to the server's Website and see if it shows there. If it is not there, and you have no rules, then it is not OE at fault. OE has no spam program. I have done this...the e-mail is not reaching my account at all. The person sending the e-mail is not being notified that e-mail was not received. It's just disappearing into thin air. Any idea on where I can look?

In Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | General, make sure your address is correct and the reply field is blank. Other than that, if the e-mail is not appearing on your server, then it is not an issue with OE. Either the server does have a spam program, or something else that is doing this, or the problem is with the senders. I don't understand how it could be the latter if it is a reply.
