There is a nasty compacting feature that pops up in Outlook Express 6. If someone responds OK it seems to remove all opened mail from the INBOX. What do I do to restore all that mail? What do I do to remove this evil feature? It does not seem to be an option in this version?1 person needs an answerI do too

Unless you maintain your msg store (Compact) the store can become corrupt.I've never had compact remove mail, I dont use OE myself, but I've maintained others who do
