Thanks so much, but also with Windows-7 I got the same problem: I cannot transfer from Outlook Express 6,0 to Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail, because the files *.dbx does not reconized. Thanks in any case indeed. Sandro.

Alessandro - In that case, it's rather simple. You have to import the data from your Outlook Express folders. 1.) Launch Windows Live Mail2.) Press the Alt key3.) Click File | Import | Messages4.) Select Outlook Express 6 (the default)5.) point it to the Outlook Express files6.) let it do it's thing.
