After outlook express compacted my files I lost all of my e-mails from 2009 that were in the in box. Older e-mails are there, just none from 2009. Windows XP.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Max Thanks for the link. I have followed it and after renaming the .bak file the file type is still a ACAD bak file. Any suggestions? Fly

Max I have tried all the steps in both links. I have restored the file and changed the extension to .dbx but under "type" it is still an ACAD backup drawing. Outlook express does not recognize it as a file. Any more suggestions? Thanks Fly
