What do you mean with "problems with downloading PDF documents"? If you refer to PDF documents shown in your browser, that should be resolved with Acrobat Reader 9.1.2; I didn't see any other PDF problems until now.Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)

Threre's a big bug in the new adobe reader when you try and access a pdf, a blank dialogue box with no text and an ok button appears. I just click it and reopen the same web page, try again and it works. That may be what you are experiancing.

Open Adobe Reader and from the Toolbar select: Edit > Preferences. Under Categories, click on Internet and in the right-side pane, under Web Browser Options, remove the check next to Display PDF in Browser, then click on OK.Carey Frisch

The problem with Adobe Reader 9is its integration with the browser. Rather than having PDFs display in the browser window, have them display in Adobe Reader. To do this, launch Adobe Reader and change the "internet" options:EditPreferencesInternetuncheck "Display PDF in browser"

I've been having the same problem. I launched Adobe Reader, and chanted the internet instructions as listed above. I am still having the same problem. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the program; same issue. Edit to add: I normally use Firefox. I just now tried using IE8 and had a different problem: when I double-clicked on the item I wanted to open, the screen just blinked quickly and stayed on the same page without opening the document.

Go to www.pdfdownload.org and install the PDF Download addon for IE, Firefox, or bookmarklets for other browsers. This should allow you to bypass Adobe and just download the PDF. You may have to play around with the addon's settings a bit to your liking.Hello!
