PPTP VPN connection issues with Windows 7
We are having PPTP VPN connection issues with several Win7 laptops (Server Win2003 RRAS), some users make several attempts to connect before connecting, some users get disconnected shortly after connecting and at other times these users have no problem
connecting. We are not having these issues with XP laptops. There seems to be no pattern to the problem which is making it difficult to troublshoot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Hi rdlemmon,
Thanks for posting in TechNet forum.
I recommend you check the event log on both your server and clients, what's the message you got ? Find the events created by RemoteAccess. Please provide us with the detailed information.
Please try to reconfigure the RRAS to check if it works. Refer to:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323441
If not, you can enable the logs for RRAS to troubleshoot the issue. Refer to:
Enabling logs for RRAS.
You can upload the logs via
SkyDrive.
