Partition disc with no unallocated space
Hi folks, I am using win-xp Professional SP3. I wanna Partition my hard disc that has just one C-drive with no unallocated space left. I don't want to either format or reinstall my O.S., Is there any way that i can create a partition on my hard disc. I tried to shrink the disc, but there is no option of shrinking in the disk management window. Help regarding this issue is highly appreciated1 person needs an answerI do too

Windows XP has no native tools to do this, you will have to use a third party partitioning utility to do this. Acronis, Symantec, TeraByte and Easus are some of the companies that come to mind which have tools to do this. TeraByte's free trial BootItNg utility can do this.Keep in mind that anything can happen when you work with disk partitions and resizing/partitioning tools, a slip of the finger, a power failure or a software glitch can easily lead to catastrophic loss of all the data on the disk, make sure that you have a proper backup of your precious files BEFORE you proceed with this!John
