I had a boot failure and use the installation disk to boot to the re and did an automated repair. The automated repair failed so I did a manual mbr fix and rebuilt the bcd. This repaired the boot and windows launches normally. I then built a repair disk on a bootable usb stick which works fine. However, when I booted to the re for testing it says that there is a pending recovery action. Question: What method can I use for current wre.wim to reflect this state. I am aware of that WAIK can build a new wim but I have not done this before.
