Performance Number
I think I have a different problem onone of two different64-BitRTM Windows 7 systems. The performancetest won't start. It does not apear to be related toa file and I don't go to exotic addresses. It works on my Lenovo notebook and not on my Extreme. Windows Seven can detect that the system is not setup right by the parameter in the control board (system) "Under Contol Panel | System the display shows "The Windows Experience index for your system cannot be completed. Cannot complere the necessary This system does not have the necessary multi-media support to run the request." Yet it does have audio and vdeo. What else does it need?Renee

There is reputedly an 'N' edition of Windows, which ships with Windows Media Player carved out, apparently to satisfy some kind of EU court ruling. Apparently the 'N' version fails in this way. Sounds like a terrible hack job.I have read that if you find Microsoft's page and install Windows Media Player 12 separately that this problemmay becorrected.-Noel
