Hello! When i am Playing Games trough Steam (haven't tested it in other games) I have Pingproblems. The Ping is rising in some situationen and dropping again later, this causes a small lag or a warping play. My Setup: Intel D 3.0 GhZ Nvidia 8600 DLink 10/100/1000 Network Adapter Dell (Intel) Mainboard I searched for the reason and i found out that the ping to my Router is rising and not the ping from my router to the game server.
