Printer Spooler Problems
I have an Epson Artisan 800, it worked perfect on XP. I purchased a new Windows 7 64-Bit. Installed the Windows 7 drivers etc. There is a print spooler problem. I have spent a lot of time with Epson Tech Help. They told me to call Microsoft and when I did they wanted $99 to help me. I think that is highway robbery. We tried all the spooler restart etc and nothing works. I thought it was the Network but Epson says it is the spooler service in Windows 7. It prints once and then does not print and the spooler times out. Is there software to fix this problem, I have seen many people complaining about this problem. So what will happen once Windows 8 is installed?

Hi, If it is wireless, you may use an USB cable to connect them directly and check the result. Meanwhile, try the following to troubleshoot the printer issue: 1. Test the issue with another computer. 2. Use the Windows Troubleshooter: Printer problems in Windows 3. Clear the print spooler queue ================================= Click start, type cmd in the search bar, right click cmd and run as administrator. Type the following commands and press enter. net stop spooler del /F /Q %systemroot%\System32\spool\PRINTERS\* net start spooler 4. Test the issue in Clean Boot mode and check if there is some conflicts with the printer. Tracy Cai TechNet Community Support
