Problem with Conversation history via EWS

Hello

I have a user with a hosted lync service and a onsite Exchange server 2010.

The Lync client is not able to add Lync conversation history via EWS.

The ews url's are set to the public server name, also basic authentication = true

Creating a new session for implicit remoting of "Get-WebServicesVirtualDirectory" command...

InternalAuthenticationMethods : {Basic, Ntlm, WindowsIntegrated, WSSecurity}

ExternalAuthenticationMethods : {Basic, Ntlm, WindowsIntegrated, WSSecurity}

LiveIdSpNegoAuthentication    : False

WSSecurityAuthentication      : True

LiveIdBasicAuthentication     : False

BasicAuthentication           : True

DigestAuthentication          : False

WindowsAuthentication         : True

InternalNLBBypassUrl          : https://dc1.local/ews/exchange.asmx

InternalUrl                   : https://mail.publicdomain.com/EWS/exchange.asmx

ExternalUrl                   : https://mail.publicdomain.com/EWS/exchange.asmx

If I test ews with remoteconnectivity analyzer it suceeds, also autodiscover works fine.

If I use Microsoft Lync 2010 Conversations Analyzer it says that Error: could not retrive items from EWS so it seems that something is wrong with the EWS service on exchange server.

Anyone knows some other settings in EWS that could be wrong.

Thanks

kritro

Is the user SIP domain the same and the Exchange email address? Sometimes when these are different there can be problems. Lync uses the SIP domain and does and autodiscover against it.
