I have a problem with offline files in Windows 7 operating system. Main problem is that modifications are not synchronised to server when back in online mode. By modifications I mean created folders or files or eiditing existing. File state is explorer show "Always awailable", but when examining file properties and Offline Files -tab, I get message 'This file is offline with unsynced changes. Press "Sync" to synchronize.' Pressing "Sync" of course does nothing. Operating system affected is Windows 7 SP1, Windows XP is functioning fine (to my knowledge, of course). There are no Vistas around. Offline files are use only in Documents folder by Folder Redirection Documents folder share is DFS-based on Windows Server 2008 SP2 file servers One DC is running WS 2008 R2 and two WS 2008. I also created a user for testing purposis and after first logon I populated document folder with randomly selected files. Most of the files are cached and available offline, but for example PDF files are not no matter what size. If I move them away and back to documents-folder, they appear to be cached. However, even if files appear to be available in offline, changes are not synchronized. I have tried formatting CSC by registry change, which, of course, did nothing else than deleted all changes in offline modified files. There are no helpfull event in eventlog either. What else should I do to troubleshoot this issue?

Hello Jerenius, i was reviewing your Issue, I would like to know some more details about the scenerio. When you enable Work Offline option in My documents and then if you save a few changes and come back to Work online mode, as soon as you switch to work online mode it will sync the data to the share however if you goto the properties of that fles properties you will get "This file is offline with unsynced changes. Press "Sync" to synchronize." Pressing "Sync" will not do anything. However i want to verify at the same time if you do \\fileserver\Share\username\My Documents Do you see the updated data?
