Hi , I would suggest you use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe). http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 Also, reinstall the Virtual CD software and check if the issue persists. Hope it helps.Tracy Cai TechNet Community Support

Hi , Is the ISO file able to be opened on another machine? Make sure that the ISO file is not corrupted. This time you can do the following: 1. Use .ISO image file software to download and save the .ISO image file to a CD-R or a DVD-R. 2. This blog will show you how to use third-party tools to open the ISO file. How to extract the contents from an .ISO file without burning the .ISO to disc. 3. Due to the System File Checker tool cannot help, Im afraid that you may need to perform an In-place Upgrade to repair the system.Tracy Cai TechNet Community Support
