Is there any third party firewall like ZA or stuff? Since you mention you can't add the second comps, ensure that the folder and printer of the second comps sharing is share or enable.Btw you can access the other comps by mapping it's IP, just go to start>under search program and files, type the following \\192.168.X.X and hit enter (IP adress of the other pc that you're trying to access)

fixed the problem it was because windows 7 use workgroup as default and windows xp as mshome in it's home network creating process once i could getthe xp to recognize my computer the problem was solved the one thing i still don't understand is why windows 7 still recognize it as unknown network or whatever he calls it in english once bote computer has ip addresses wheter it's 192.168.0.1/192.168.0.2 or 192.168.137.1/192.168.137.2 which how it is now it should change status to known network or something eles becaue it's very strange and i can't change it and i can't even change it from public network to home network windows7 have a very strange way of handelling networks.and let's not start with firewalls problems like windows 7 firewall who i need to disable just so i can see the second computer in my network. and for the life of me i can't understand why i can access my computer from the other computer to all drives except c even thoughe he is also shared and have the same permisions.and to be honest i really start to dislike windows 7 no sleep or hibdernation mode that works properly no old drivers and all the basic options are so hidden that you need hours to fix problems like those i'v mention and i still haven't found a solution to sharing driver c so that i could access it from my other computer and i had to mark all the options in windows firewall just so that i could see my second computer just because i can't change it from publice netwrok to home networkand i really don't like it when i can't change things in my own computer and my own operating system!!!.
