Problem with mapped drives not connecting upon reboot
Using Windows XP and Vista, all of a sudden my mapped drives are not being auto connected when rebooting or re-logging back on to the computers. It asks for the password again. Once it's entered everything is fine but if I reboot and try to access the drives again, it asks for the password. I have checked the auto connect box when setting up the mapped drives. It's as if the password that we entered is not being saved where it's supposed to be and then when rebooting there is nothing to compare to the passwords set up on the drive it's accessing. It used to be that it would just reconnect and I would never have to enter the password when accessing the drives. Has anyone else had this problem or know how this can be fixed?1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello Michael If any network resource (map dirve), you are trying to access then make sure that you dont forget the below step, After entering "User name" and "Password", select the "Remember My Password" check box. I hope this will work even if you reboot the system. let me know if you still have the issue. Zulfikar

Just check Reconnect at log on option you have checked at the time of creating map drive
