This tab shows that "some settings are managed by your system administrator". This computer is part of a small network in which everyone is running XP Home. The advisory above seems to me refering to group policy settings. To my knowlege, group policies are not possible with XP Home. I think these mysterious settings are affecting some actions on the computer. I did run MMC on a lark and it showed nothing for local policies. I welcome any ideas on how to problem solve and fix this anomalie.2 people need an answerI do too
