It seems when I boot my computer up (with Vista), my network card is not recognized by the system. If I hit the power button and put it into sleep mode, then bring it back out of sleep mode, the computer then recognizes my NIC and connects me to the internet.Before I go fooling around in BIOS, is this a common issue? I've done a Google search and also a search on here, but didn't get the results I wanted. Is anyone else aware of it or have this same issue?If so, how would I fix this?

Could be the BIOS but most likely it's a driver recognition issue. What NIC is it? 3Com, Broadcom, Intel, Realtek.......Give us more information.
