Problems accessing Ethernet Network Attached Storage.
I have upgrade my home computer from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate and finding it difficult to access my drive and folders on my Linksys EFG120 Ethernet Network Attached Storage. I have matched the workgroup name on both, but still can not access the unit. If I remove the password within the attached storage I am able to access everything, which is ok for now, but leaves my network drive and folders open. When I use to use XP all you had to do is put in the login name and password to gain access. I tried doing the same in Vista and can't get access if the password is in place. Is there a setting I need to change to make it possible to gain access with the password in place on the attached drive? Please help if you can. Thanks, Gregg

It might be related to security settings and Samba shares.Look here. This solved it for me with my Maxtor Network disc:http://www.builderau.com.au/blogs/codemonkeybusiness/viewblogpost.htm?p=339270746G
