Problems after installing Service Pack 1 for Windows 7
I have recently installed Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Since then I have had the following problems. 1. Under Control Panel, System & Security, Action Center - it says Windows Update is not set up for this computer and to change settings. I have done this but this still shows as above. 2. Using both Internet Explorer and Firefox when I click on it it hangs, on a click through it hangs - for a short while. 3. I keep getting script notices. Any help much appreciated. Thanks, Toni

Hi Toni, That seem some software or tools not compatible with Windows SP1. Please login with Clean Boot and manually turn on Windows Update on Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Turn-automatic-updating-on-or-off Also check if the IE still hang or freeze in Clean boot. If it work well in clean boot, please remove third party tools or programs. Furthermore, can you share me the screen shot of the script notices? Make a screenshot and Upload to SkyDrive. Thank you for your cooperation.
