Problems downloading and installing updates
I just installed Windows 7 rc, and I cannot seem to install any updates. After several attempts to download the Windows 7 updates (all which resulted in freezing) I finally got them to download, but then they stopped at 99%. In addition to this, I am incapable of shutting down or restarting my computer with any other methods than having to remove the battery because it is completely frozen. I installed it by upgrade from Vista. Also, icons of files in folders do not appear. My computer's details are: "Intel Core 2 Duo CPU , RAM is 4.00GB (2.99GB usable), 32 bit OS. If you need any other information to help you figure out whats wrong, I'll find out.

Though, I do have a small problem. I can't seem to uninstall Trend Micro, as it appears that the built in trend micro uninstaller is.. well.. missing. I tried to download (from the trend micro website) the compatable trend micro beta portal for Windows 7, but i couldn't get THAT to install, and i think its just because the uninstaller is gone. How exactly can i uninstall it then?
(should I repost this in a different forum or is in here appropriate since it is relevant to my running of windows 7?)
