Problems installing Infineon TPM software
I have a VAIO TT160N and am having problems installing the Infineon TPM software (3.0.2.2); I keep getting an install error 1303 with "The installer has insufficient privleges to access this directory: C:windows\winsxs\mainfests then an error trying to start the subsystem. I'm running as a user with admin privleges and am stumped how to fix this. thnksTravelguy

Have you tried installing it using the Control panel's compatability mode? This may help.. 1. Go to Control Panel\Programs 2. Click on Use un older program with this version of windows 3. Click next button 4. Click Not listed and click next button 5. Click Browse button and point to and open setup file 6. Click Next button 7. Click The program worken in earlied versions of windows but won't install or run now and click next button 8. Mark windows vist or entry you want and click next button 9. Click next and install Follow on screen instructions and if required make additional setting and changesAlso, you might want to look into getting ahold of version 3.5 of the Infineon TPM software.
