Problems with Windows XP - endless boot cycle
I started using an old desktop that hasn't been used for a few weeks and came across a new problem I've never heard of before. When I turn on my computer, it goes through its normal cycle, including the standard Windows XP boot-up screen and the "click your user name" graphics screen. However, at that point it reboots with a screen that says something along the lines of: Phoenix BIOS Version 1.10 DOS Copyright messages All rights reserved At the bottom it says: "Diskette drive 0 seek failure" and then it continues towards the standard Windows XP screen, and repeats this cycle endlessly. I even tried inserting the reinstallation CD in hopes that I could just reformat my computer, but that didn't stop the cycle. Any ideas on what's wrong with my system?1 person needs an answerI do too
