Profile folders
I want to move the things in the my user folder to D drive. You know, Documents, Pictures, Music, Video... all that stuff. Is there a better way than right clicking each folder? Ideally, I'd like to move the entire User\Username directory to D. Doesnt seem to be an easy way to do this and there really should be. Any ideas?

By default, User folders are subfolders of a %UserProfile% folder. The location of the folder is C:\Users\User. To move the User folder, first create a new folder in the location where it is going to be transferred. Go to Start Menu and type: C:\users\ in the search box. Afterward, a window will pop-up showing the User folder. Right-click on the folder whichwe wishto move and click on Properties. A folder property window will pop-up. In the Location tab use type the path of folder which you created. Click on OK. Click Yes. Now your User profile folderis moved in a different directory.Carey Frisch
