Proxy server
Hi all,im using a proxy right now but i have some doubts about it and these are:Does proxies make your computer vulnerable?i cant see port 443 (netstat -n)when using ssl connections while logging in somewhere or even windows update, is that a normal behaviour and https is running in the background so proxies works just like a mask?when i do a ipconfig /displaydns i cant see any dns records cached why is that?also would like to know when you go through the advanced tab at the very bottom theres an option to set an exclusion list so it asks to set the beggining of the addresses i dont want to use proxy i guess, lets say i dont want FTP only so the way to add to this list is to type FTP only or FTP:? what if i want to add https?should i type FTP;HTTPS ?Thanks in advance and will be looking forwardKind regards,RR

Guessing that issue was related to that proxy server i chose i just changed for one of the most reliable and fast proxy and so far so good no issues no time exceeded etc...i also would like to know if i did the right thing creating tunneling rule in my firewall also used scope settings?any volunteer?Apreciate any little help could be a few words only all i need!PS: using proxy solved the problem i was facing when the modem would go in sleep mode i had to refresh the page before going to another one and it doesnt happen that anymore which is a kind of relief...Kind regards,RR
