RCP remote copy in Windows 7
I have been using rcp ( remote copy ) in Windows XP for quite long time. Recently I changed a PC and switched to Windows 7. Now every time I tried to use rcp to copy files from windows to other systems, it shows an error message " RCP is not a recognized internal or external command...". I tried to look online, didn't find any helpful solution. Anybody can help? Thanks.

this isnt the forum for that, but it looks like the tool is no longer included. you'll need to either download it or switch to robocopy.. I'd advice you switch to robocopy.. Thank you for the help! Do you know where I can find the rcp.exe to download? The robocopy.exe only works in Windows, I want to copy files in windows 7 to unix/linux system.adeer

in that case, I think you want to move to SCP, winSCP is common for the windows side and I think its built in to *nix systems, but Im not 100% sure.. Justin Rich http://jrich523.wordpress.com Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
