If you use international characters for authentication credentials in a username for Password Authentication Protocol (PAP), Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP), or Microsoft Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol Version 2 (MS-CHAPv2), Network Policy Server (NPS) for Windows Server2008R2 is unable to authenticate the credentials. To avoid this issue, do not use international characters in a username for PAP, CHAP, or MS-CHAPv2. (Authentication works if you are using NPS for Windows Server2008R2).Rating posts helps other users Mark L. Ferguson MS-MVP

Hi,Thanks for your very detail answer. I am using the web connection for connecting servers through RDP. ( right now with .CAB file ).Also as we are trying to do same with Server 2008 ( With Remote app. )I am concern about the windows 7. So thatI can think about to modify the new technology. As with windows Vista as on client side, we are facing some problem with Web RDP. So just are there any new thing comming up in Windows 7 related with web connection for RDP.I really appriciate your concerns.thanksPratik Vohera
