RDP client problem
Could you help me find answer how to fix following problem in Windows 7. Im using RDP client to connect to terminal server through TS gateway. My laptop is in workgroup only so no special GPOs are applied. Basically my problem is that I cant login to TS server (W2K8) using saved credentials (error message: The logon attempt flailed). When I type password it login without any problems. However I can use saved credentials from any other computer but not from my Windows 7. When I connect to another server directly (without TS gateway) I have no problem with using saved password. Please advice.

This is probably due to you account first need to validate to TS Gateway and then secondly to the actual computer it connects to. http://blogs.msdn.com/rds/archive/2007/05/04/single-credential-prompt-for-ts-gateway-server-and-terminal-server.aspx

Many thanks for your reply. Unfortunately my settings are correct so I authenticate both in TS Gateway and Terminal Server using the same credentials. Especially that Im using the same configuration on my XP and Vista and they are working perfectly. I suspect a bug in RDP client 7, it is still not final version so obviously may happened. Does somebody has problem like that or maybe can test on Windows 7 saving passwords with TS gateway? Once again many thanks and best regards.
