RDP from XP to Vista ?? issues
Hello,
Im trying to start a RDP session from Windows XP to Windows Vista? Im unable to connect /Fails.
1- the firewall on vista is disable.
2-my laptop is on my home network using XP.
3-Im able to ping my Vista/Destop (Home).
4-I can RDP from Vista/Destop to my XP/Laptop. cant RDP from Vista to XP.
5-All ports are open 3389. on the firewall etc.
THIS HAS TO BE A SOFTWARE ISSUE WITH VISTA. ??????????????
any info would be helpful....

Actually, it's more likely a compatibility problem: XP's RDP Client doesn't know how to talk to a Vista system.Have you installed the RDP v6.0 client (on your XP system), as discussed in this KB?
