RDP latency tolerance
I would like to know what is the RDP (remote desktop) latency tolerance. We are using RDP to remote to a server in Australia from Vietnam with the latency is about 250ms. And the tracing route to server is about 15 hops. 1 215 ms 200 ms 199 ms 2 205 ms 198 ms 198 ms 3 203 ms 167 ms 136 ms 4 215 ms 211 ms 199 ms 5 198 ms 201 ms 206 ms 6 219 ms 215 ms 199 ms 7 201 ms 202 ms 198 ms 8 264 ms 268 ms 281 ms 9 257 ms 264 ms 263 ms 10 260 ms 260 ms 273 ms 11 319 ms 260 ms 267 ms 12 270 ms 266 ms 317 ms 13 270 ms 260 ms 266 ms 14 273 ms 288 ms 299 ms 15 292 ms 279 ms 270 ms The performance is so bad. Any idea to make it better ? Many thanks

Anyone have information about this ? I have searched on internet, but seems that there is no official latency tolerance for a RDP connection. Thanks

Hi, Before you connect to a remote computer, please open the option to disable the settings which will reduce the performance. If the performance is still unacceptable, Based on my experience, there is no other way to improve the performance unless the network enviroment is improved. Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. ”
